Summary

Nick Saraev shows how he built “Attack on Titan Craft,” a game blending Attack on Titan and Minecraft, and then turned it into an online multiplayer experience using AI coding agents. The project began as a benchmark of Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 to see which could build the best game from the same starting prompt.

The video gives a rough cost picture: the Haiku 5.5 version cost about $5 and was workable but less polished, while the Sonnet and Opus versions cost roughly $24 to $25 for the initial game. From there, Saraev runs Claude Code with Opus 5.5 in a terminal inside the Orca app, alongside Codex in another thread, and uses voice transcription to describe his goals at around 200 words per minute instead of typing.

He walks through turning the single-player game into a multiplayer one, with players choosing between Survey Corps members and Titans, plus traversal mechanics, gas canisters, health refills and free-roam mode. His main lesson is to iterate by playing the game and feeding observations back to the agent rather than writing a detailed spec up front. It is a useful look at vibe coding games with current frontier models.
