Summary
Nate Herk demonstrates the Roast Room, a Claude Code project that convenes a council of AI advisors to debate a business decision. Seats are filled by personas such as Jeff Bezos, Paul Graham, Alex Hormozi, Gary Vee, Dan Martell, Gino Wickman, and Warren Buffett. Each focuses on one guiding question, for example Buffett on cash risk and long-term value and Hormozi on whether people will pay. They argue with each other over several rounds before delivering a final verdict, which can be exported as a PDF to share with a team.
The video then explains how it works under the hood. Each council member is a markdown sub-agent file describing how they think and debate, backed by a “brain” folder in the repo’s skills directory containing frameworks, principles, sources, stories, and voice. The repo includes 11 seats, including Naval, Cody Sanchez, Sarah Blakely, and Leila Hormozi. The visual interface is an optional layer on top of Claude Code, and a New Roaster skill generates additional advisors, such as Elon Musk.
He finishes with a live example, asking the council to choose a city for a 2027 in-person event, and advises giving it a decision, two or three options, and enough context to reason well.
