Summary
Kling 4.0 has just launched, and this video puts it against Seedance 2.5, one of the strongest AI video models available, in a six-round head-to-head test. Both models receive identical prompts on OpenArt with the same settings: 16:9, 1080p, 30-second clips, and no prompt auto-rewriting. Each output is scored out of five on realism, prompt adherence, and the specific skill the round targets.
The rounds cover everyday realism (a man making breakfast), dialogue and lip sync (friends around a campfire), 3D animation (a boy carrying a watermelon at a market), and motion and physics (a sofa and a box of fruit on Brooklyn steps). Seedance takes the realism round 4 to 2, with Kling’s output showing continuity errors and a plastic look. Kling wins the animation round 4.7 to 2.7 with more vivid color and better-fitting voices, putting it ahead two rounds to one at that point. The physics round finds Kling’s output weak on believable movement.
Pricing is kept out of the scores until the end, so the cheaper model does not gain points in every round. The video closes with a cost comparison and a recommendation on which model suits which type of video. The test prompts and workflow are shared in the description. The video is sponsored by OpenArt.
