Summary

Nate Herk shows how he built a Claude Code skill that convenes a board of AI advisors to debate business decisions. Called the roast room, it simulates seven well-known founders and investors, including Jeff Bezos, Paul Graham, Alex Hormozi, Gary Vee, Dan Martell, Gino Wickman, and Warren Buffett, each reasoning from a distinct lens.

The video demonstrates a live session in which the advisors weigh four options for a conference decision. Each persona writes an opening position and scores the choices. They then read and challenge one another’s arguments, and finally vote and deliver a verdict. Bezos focuses on reversibility, Graham on whether people actually want it, and Buffett on cash risk and long-term value. A visual interface sits on top of the Claude Code session, and every session is saved with a final verdict PDF.

Herk explains the architecture in detail. Claude Code acts as a chair facilitating the debate, and each advisor is its own sub-agent defined by a file describing how that person thinks and decides. He also explains why he moved from agent teams back to sub-agents: the answers were similar, sub-agents were cheaper, and they preserved each persona’s voice better. The skill is offered free through a link in the description.
