I Built an AI Agent That Follows Polymarket Smart Money

More

Descriptions:

I built an AI agent that watches Polymarket’s smartest traders and decides whether their trades are actually worth copying.

The agent looks at smart money wallets, finds what they are buying, checks whether I’m late, and gives me one of three verdicts: copy candidate, watchlist, or skip.

The goal was simple: if someone on Polymarket is already making money, can an AI agent help me follow them intelligently, or is this just a long way of losing money?

I gave the agent 7 days, real money, and one job: follow smart money without blindly copying whales.

In 7 days, the agent tracked 39 wallets, found 1,872 trades, marked 386 as copy candidates, 461 as watchlist, and skipped 1,025.

The final result: $38.90 in profit, which was around a 20% return on the capital used in the challenge.

This is not financial advice. AI does not predict the future, and blindly copying wallets is a bad strategy. The point of this experiment was to see whether an AI agent could add a useful research layer: wallet quality, timing, liquidity, spreads, risk filters, and trade reasoning.

The biggest lesson: narrow the trading window. The bot performed better when it focused on markets resolving soon instead of locking up capital in trades that would take weeks to settle.

If you want me to turn this into a Hermes agent workflow you can control from your phone, comment “smart money.”
