Sharbel A. challenged his audience to submit their wildest AI agent ideas, then built the top three live on camera using AI-assisted coding. The first project, dubbed “Side Quest,” is a full web app that reads a user’s location, calendar, and stated preferences to surface three purposeful nearby activities each week, complete with direct booking links, photo-proof submissions, and a gamified purpose-points leaderboard. Built across iterative feedback waves with Claude, the app includes Gmail authentication and onboarding flows and was shipped in under a day.
The second project is “Sophia,” an AI girlfriend chatbot engineered for character consistency, tested by the host with deliberately contradictory inputs and memory-injection attempts to probe how reliably it holds its persona. Sophia includes text-to-speech voice output and a “wife mode” pairing-code feature that lets couples share the agent across devices. Each project was built from scratch through rapid feedback iteration rather than pre-written code.
All three agents are being open-sourced so viewers can deploy and extend them freely. The video is a practical showcase of how quirky premises โ weekend planner, AI companion โ can mask genuinely non-trivial engineering problems around memory, personalization, and state management in agent systems.
