Descriptions:

This official Anthropic demo shows Claude Co-work applied to a marketing operations workflow, narrated by a fictional marketing ops and analytics manager named Ian. The central use case is the weekly metrics review: a recurring report that previously required pulling data from half a dozen systems and took significant manual effort to assemble, verify, and format for both a team document and a one-slide leadership summary.

The demo highlights several Co-work capabilities in sequence. A scheduled task runs automatically every Sunday evening — reading the prior week’s review and meeting transcript, querying the data warehouse, and checking Slack for what the sales team is currently focused on — leaving Ian with a prepared folder of numbers and suggested focus areas by Monday morning. A proofreading skill then verifies that every number in the draft traces back to a confirmed data source, and a data-gap detection feature flags mismatches (such as a sales team reorg that broke existing reporting mappings) and asks for human guidance rather than guessing. Once the narrative is approved, Claude finalizes the team document, writes the Slack announcement, converts follow-up items into Asana tasks, and generates the leadership slide.

A notable capability shown at the end: after each weekly run, Ian asks Claude what it learned during the process, and Claude updates the skill file itself with new structural knowledge — such as the corrected sales team hierarchy — so future runs benefit from the correction automatically. Because skills are shareable text files, any team member can run the identical process or extend it inside Claude Code work.
