Claude Code's New Secret Feature Nobody Is Talking About (Remote Control)

Claude Code's New Secret Feature Nobody Is Talking About (Remote Control)

More

Descriptions:

Anthropic’s Claude Code Remote Control feature lets developers start a coding session in their local terminal and then pick it up from their phone — and this video from the Moon Dev channel is one of the first live demonstrations of it in action.

The host walks through the setup in real time, using the /remote-control slash command inside Claude Code to activate a shareable session link. From there, he connects via the Claude mobile app and issues a prompt to build a Brick Breaker game that launches on a local web server — all from his phone while his desktop terminal keeps running. He also briefly explores session security, noting that the remote link requires an authenticated Anthropic account to access.

The feature is currently rolling out to Claude Max plan subscribers as a research preview. While the demo is informal and stream-style, it provides a concrete first look at how the handoff between desktop and mobile works, the kinds of tasks that remain viable over remote control, and the current limitation that there’s no dashboard for managing multiple active remote sessions simultaneously.
