Claude is still incredible for focused coding, web design, and product work. But Hermes feels more like an operating layer: it lives in Telegram, remembers how I want things done, builds skills from corrections, runs scheduled jobs, manages workflows, and gets more useful the longer it works with me.
This is not a generic Claude vs Hermes benchmark. It is the real split I use now: Claude for focused creation, Hermes for ongoing operation.
